Residents have a secured parking area for their exclusive use - accessible via both a main driveway and an alleyway that’s just off the sidewalk bordering the building. In this incident, two individuals donned in indistinguishable clothing and face masks used the alleyway to gain access to the parking area, immediately moving toward resident mailboxes with clear intent to steal mail and other personal property. Mail theft and personal property larceny in parking garages are the most common types of recurring security concerns at multi-family residences.
