One of the ways that Edgeworth provides superior peace of mind is by sharing our security expertise directly with our clients and partners. To that end, Edgeworth Security is currently expanding our community involvement. Our team of experts have developed a series of advanced security training and emergency preparedness courses, which we are now deploying to schools, businesses, organizations, local police forces, and anyone else that could benefit from our leadership's combined 100 years of security experience.
Our first community training event was recently held at Mountain House, a long-time client of Edgeworth. Edgeworth Security came together with the greater Mountain House community to deliver security training and let them know how Edgeworth Security, Avigilon, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department, and Rank Security are all working in unison to keep the community safe.
Topics covered were:
- Enhanced Deterrence
- Improved Incident Response
- Collaboration and Information Sharing
- Scalability and Flexibility
Advanced collaboration has created a seamless integration of all the different elements that go into crime prevention at Mountain House, resulting in layers of protection against crime. Alerts of unwanted, unusual, or illegal activity are sent out by Avigilon smart cameras, powered by Edgeworth’s security system integration, to ensure rapid and appropriate incident response by Rank Security and the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department.
Our cooperative approach creates a well-oiled security machine in which advanced security technology meets the latest in security best practices and insights, ultimately making the entire community safer. The shared infrastructure and policies among all the components of Mountain House’s security response also allows for advanced flexibility, ensuring that it is able to adapt to whatever security challenges may arrive at Mountain House in the future.
We would like to thank all of the participants of the training: our team of experts, our partner Avigilon, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department, Rank Security, Lammersville Unified School District, Inframark, and every community member who attended.
Edgeworth is continuously in the process of developing new security trainings, including an Active Shooter Training that teaches recipients Edgeworth’s proprietary methodology of situation awareness and critical response processes.
